There are many parts and the instructions are very detailed. It’s a great experience.
I gave this to my 11 yo son for Christmas and he was pretty excited to get it, even though it wasn't a video game. He immediately put some music on and started working on it. He was very proud when finished and loved it! I love the fact that you can do different images from one package. I do think its a bit overpriced but not much, all lego products are anyway.
This is such a unique item.
I have built several large Lego sets by now but this was my first Lego art set. Let me tell you, it is easier to put together than I was expected. You don't need to constantly count studs or take a look at the instructions every second. Fill it with one color at a time and you will get almost meditative experience.
I love this set for the most part. The only thing I do not like about it is how the creators did not take into account are Ravenclaw House colors and mascot. I wish they would have stuck true to the books. The Ravenclaw House colors are blue and bronze with an eagle mascot. Other than that minor detail, it is an amazing set. Eventually I will add all four to create the bigger picture.
